Festival Park Visitor Code of Conduct

Welcome to Festival Park! We strive to create a safe, enjoyable, and welcoming environment for all visitors. To help us achieve this, we kindly ask you to adhere to the following code of conduct:

Respect:

  • Be respectful towards all staff, volunteers, and other visitors.
  • Treat everyone with courtesy and consideration, regardless of their age, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other personal characteristic.
  • Avoid using offensive language or gestures.

Safety and Security:

  • Follow all posted rules and regulations, including capacity limits and designated smoking areas.
  • Do not bring any illegal substances or weapons onto the premises.
  • Report any suspicious activity or safety concerns to staff or security personnel immediately.
  • Abide by all fire and safety regulations.

Cleanliness and Property:

  • Dispose of all trash properly in designated receptacles.
  • Do not litter or vandalize any property.
  • Respect the landscaping and green spaces.
  • Do not bring coolers or glass containers into the park, unless it is a designated event.

Personal Conduct:

  • Public displays of affection should be kept appropriate for a family-friendly environment.
  • Disruptive behavior is not permitted.
  • Pets are not allowed in the park, except for service animals or special events.
  • Bicycles, skateboards, and rollerblades must be parked in designated areas and not ridden within the park or buildings.
  • Drones and other flying devices are prohibited unless authorized for a specific event.

Dress code policy: 

We aim to create a safe and inclusive environment for all individuals by promoting respectful and responsible attire. It outlines expectations for clothing that may be associated with gang affiliation or violence while upholding the principles of free speech.

Prohibited Attire:

  • Clothing or accessories that directly display gang symbols, logos, or slogans. This includes, but is not limited to, bandanas, flags, patches, or jewelry with gang affiliation.
  • Clothing or accessories that promote violence, hate speech, or illegal activities. This includes items with images or text depicting violence, weapons, or discriminatory language.
  • Clothing that creates a hostile or intimidating environment for others. This includes clothing that is excessively revealing, discriminatory, or suggestive.

Event Specific Guidelines:

  • Please adhere to any additional rules or guidelines posted for specific events.
  • Respect the artists and performers.
  • Do not block entrances or exits.
  • Follow instructions from event staff.

Non-Compliance:

Failure to comply with this code of conduct may result in being asked to leave the premises, or in some cases, legal action.
