Catering Information
At Festival Park and our affiliated civic center facilities, catering guidelines are structured to provide flexibility for event organizers while strictly maintaining public health standards, licensing requirements, and risk management.
Core Catering Policies & Guidelines
-
Licensed & Insured Vendors Required: All food served at events must originate from a properly licensed and insured commercial caterer. We maintain a preferred vendor list for convenience, but organizers have the flexibility to work with outside caterers provided they meet all compliance criteria.
-
Compliance & Documentation: Every caterer must hold a valid business license, carry appropriate liability insurance, and comply with local health department regulations. Unverified or home-prepared food (such as unlicensed potlucks) is strictly prohibited to protect public health and prevent liability exposure.
-
No In-House Catering: Festival Park does not provide in-house catering services. We offer venue space and clean-canvas rentals, allowing event planners to select culinary partners that fit their specific event style and budget without facing hidden venue markups or mandatory exclusive catering contracts.
-
Alcohol Service: Unlike food, alcohol service is managed exclusively through our licensed establishment in accordance with Wisconsin state liquor laws and local municipal regulations. Outside alcohol is not permitted.
